The Peninsula Pop Warner Little Scholars' Scholastics program is a remarkable component of the overall Viking program.
Pop Warner Little Scholars is the only nationwide youth organization that recognizes AND requires scholastic achievement for its players. There are the two key elements to the 'Little Scholars' portion of the program: REQUIREMENTS and RECOGNITION.
Requirements:
All players must maintain a minimum grade point average to be certified to play. In lieu of that standard, the child's family and school may work together to create a plan for building that child's performance and thus meet the scholastic certification criteria - and perhaps make a very positive change in that child's future.
Recognition:
PopWarner Little Scholars (PWLS) recognizes superior academic performance combined with a child's extracurricular support of his school and community. This performance is recognized by the Conference in a series of three Awards Banquets.

Congrats to all the Vikings who were named to the Peninsula Pop Warner little Scholars All-Conference Academic teams! Vikings were named to one of the three teams, and several were named to the PPWLS Academic Hall of Fame!
