Heather head coached Freshman at Loyola Marymount High and undefeated Freshman and JV teams at William Hart High, as well as assisted the Boys JV and Women’s Varsity in the 1990s. Heather also coached 14s and 16s at Mid Valley Volleyball Club and Santa Clarita Athletic Club in the SCVA before moving to the Bay Area and becoming a mother and executive. In the last 5 years Heather has coached 4 teams at Encinal Elementary and 6 teams at Hillview Middle School, 11s and 12s at Encore. Now very experienced teaching at the 14 and under level, she focuses on helping girls build a strong foundation for their volleyball career, with coaching in 3 areas: fundamental skills with emphasis on proper technique and form, game and positional strategy, and the mental / emotional aspects of being a competitor and strong team.
