Rowan grew up in Southern California where she played four years of varsity volleyball for Riverside Poly High School and earned four scholar athlete awards, two 1st Team All-League awards, and MVP for her team and the League. She entered the club scene in 2012 where she played for Mavericks Volleyball club for two years, Inland Empire Volleyball Club one year, and finished her senior year with Forza1 in 2016.
She is a senior on the volleyball team at Notre Dame de Namur University. Rowan started her university career as a right-side attacker but has moved around to play positions on the outside and now finds herself comfortable in the libero jersey. She was a part of the USA D-2 Volleyball Team that traveled to Brazil in the summer of 2018.
