Following Torika’s first year as Director of Activated Sports Performance Volleyball, Torika Baleilekutu was promoted to her current role as the Assistant Director of Encore Volleyball Club. A native of California, Torika grew up in the Bay Area where she actively played volleyball, soccer, and track and field growing up. Baleilekutu played NJCAA Division I volleyball first at Missouri State University - West Plains, then finished her DI playing career at the University of Memphis. Torika graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Sociology and Business. During Torika’s collegiate career, she earned Academic All-American honors, All-League Honors, 2 NJCAA National Tournament appearances (finishing top 10 in the country), and being a 4-year captain. Currently - Torika is an alumni, coach, and now Assistant Director for Encore Volleyball Club who brings a fresh perspective on leadership, women empowerment, and social impact. Torika is also the Director of Playmaker Alumni at the LEMO Foundation, Assistant Volleyball Coach at Sacred Heart Prep - Atherton, and the Volleyball/Track & Field Coach at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
