Life Skills. We will mentor and nourish our student athletes to become the influencers of tomorrow. MAV and LEMOS philosophy

TUTORING

We the Menlo-Atherton Vikings believe in the “Student” first in student-athletes and we will now provide academic mentoring into our football program to ensure that we stay true to that. All athletes in the MAV will be held to not only a high standard on the football field and community but an even higher standard in the classroom. We will provide tutoring 2 times a week that will be mandatory for our 12u and 14u teams during the school year to help our student athletes ensure academic success. We will help families for our 14u with high school admissions into our local private schools as well. All MAV 12u and 14u athletes will be expected to hold a 2.00 GPA in order to participate.

PERFORMANCE TRAINING

MAV is now offering an 6-week offseason training program for our 10u,12u and 14u teams. The student-athletes will receive elite sports performance training with Activated Sports Performance at LEMO U 3 days week starting June 29th-July 30th.

VIKING TABLE

MAV is committed to providing the proper nutrition to not only fuel our athletes to perform at high level on and off the field but to also create a heathy lifestyle for our athletes and their families. Introducing the Viking table!! The Viking table will provide nutritional guidance to our athletes on what to eat and not eat but they will also provide meals during the season X times a week.
